In 2023, Eagle Foundation provided funding for the Osiligi Charity Projects to run a pilot programme with 4 schools in Kenya to grow their own food.

The aims were threefold:
- Provide life-long agricultural skills to the children (and their communities)
- Provide food for the school kitchens
- Give the school children valuable nutrition
This involved the building of fenced agricultural plots, installing solar-driven electric pumps, water tanks and towers, providing drip irrigation, buying gardening tools, and facilitating training courses at the Haller Foundation in Mombasa (courtesy of Haller).
The project is on-going, but some of the results can be seen in the photos above and below.
